HashExplorer
Terms of Use
HashExplorer lets you monitor your miners and change their settings. Some of those settings can overheat or damage hardware. Please read section 3 before you tune anything.
1. These terms
HashExplorer is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These Terms of Use add to it; where they differ, the Standard EULA wins. By using HashExplorer you agree to both. "We" and "us" mean Alan Klas, publishing as DuckyLabs, the developer named on the App Store.
2. What HashExplorer does
HashExplorer connects to miners running the AxeOS (ESP-Miner) firmware on your local network. It shows their readings, keeps a history on your device, sends optional alerts, and can change their frequency, core voltage, fan and related settings when you tell it to, and, shortly after an increase, put the previous settings back on its own if a miner runs too hot or makes too many errors. It does not mine and does not hold or send any coins.
HashExplorer is an independent app, not affiliated with or endorsed by the makers of Bitaxe, AxeOS or ESP-Miner, or by mempool.space or Blockchair. Product names belong to their owners.
3. Changing your hardware is at your own risk
- Raising frequency or core voltage, lowering fan speed or changing temperature targets can make a miner run hot or unstable, shorten its life, damage it, its power supply or things nearby, create a fire hazard, and void its warranty.
- HashExplorer shows the firmware's presets, estimates, warnings and safety checks, and reads each change made in Tune back from the miner, trying to put the previous settings back if it doesn't take. These are aids, not guarantees: estimates can be wrong, checks can miss problems, a restore can fail, and some checks (such as reverting a change that runs hot) work only while the app is open.
- You decide what to apply. You are responsible for your miners' cooling, power supply, placement and supervision, for electricity costs, and for following the rules that apply where you live.
- Use HashExplorer only with miners you own or are allowed to control.
4. Estimates, not advice
Odds, expected times, earnings and prices are statistical estimates based on data that may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Mining may cost more in electricity than it ever earns, and a solo miner may never find a block. Nothing in HashExplorer is financial, investment or tax advice.
5. Alerts and availability
Alerts depend on your network, on iOS letting the app run in the background, and on notification settings. iOS decides when background checks happen. Alerts may arrive late or not at all, so don't rely on them alone to protect your hardware. HashExplorer and the optional third-party services it uses may change, be unavailable or stop working.
6. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, HashExplorer is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
Settings you choose to apply, and what they do to your miner, its power supply and its surroundings, are your responsibility (see section 3). Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost earnings, lost data or electricity costs, and our total liability is limited as set out in the Standard EULA.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, under product liability law, or anywhere the law where you live doesn't allow it. Your statutory rights as a consumer aren't affected.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date; continuing to use HashExplorer after that means you accept it.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
